Entry #4: Foooooood!!

Have you ever just wanted to drive around your state and look for the next best thing to eat or conquer a food challenge? Well, I have! Numerous times actually. I pro-claim my self as a food junkie and Im not talking about your typical food junkie that involves fine wine and a five thousand dollar jar of caviar. Im leaning more towards a giant never before seen burger with a side of ten pound fries and if I am still a little to happy, I'll take a strawberry shake with that. You can definitely guess what my favorite t.v channel is (hint: it has the show "Unwrapped").There are several amazing thing to try and take on in Arizona. You just have to be open for the hunt. For instance, did you know we had a six pound burrito challenge located in Eloy, Arizona or a seventy-two ounce steak challenge located in Prescott for you steak lovers. I know what your thinking, crazy, I know. Also, if you want to try something a little smaller I would recommend the churro dog at the Diamond Back stadium.

This puppy contains a chocolate long john donut slice down the middle, a long cinnamon churro, two scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream (your choice), smother in whip cream, and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. Would you believe me if I told you that I just died, went to haven, and came back to life!! This thing screams "heart attack". Don't be afraid to venture out because there is a lot of crazy food and challenges waiting for you to try and definitely, don't worry about the next few pounds that your about to gain. The gym will always be there for you, you would just need to hit the gym ten times harder then you normally do the next day. Bring a friend or your family, things like this are perfect and fun for quality time also a great chance to laugh and create new memories together..What challenges have you tried? Please, I would love to hear all about it!

Here's some more food challenges for you to give a try:

  1. Great post Lyphon! I would consider myself a food junkie as well but always thought of it as a negative! But two wrongs make a right! Lol One of my favorite things to do is go on Yelp and see the restaurant reviews around town. I agree and think there are a lot of places to see and try around Arizona. Earlier this year, I had gone to the food truck festival in Scottsdale and they really had everything you could think of! Thanks for sharing!
